This Tee was designed with tradition in mind and represents the symbolism embedded across a number of tattoo cultures.

A skull is often a powerful symbol of death but can represent both the positive and negative. Put next to a flower it represents the polar opposite positions within a given idea. Life versus death. Good versus evil... Balanced with the Ship's Wheel, representing someone trying to find their way through the rough seas of life, this design reminds us that we all must choose a path: right or wrong, through unseen dangers while at the mercy of forces out of our control.

The moth tattoo usually symbolises transformation and metamorphosis, but the death moth, also known as “Memento Mori” reminds us of our mortality. Similarly to skull tattoos, they can symbolise the death of an old path and the start of a new one, recognising self-acceptance and personal change.
